Multiple Trophies and Golds have followed including ‘Best Shiraz’ at international shows twice – and the title of Halliday’s WINERY OF THE YEAR 2013. Savour FOUR exclusives today, including your No. 1 red Baroota and its premium Black Label Limited Release sibling – both of which have just won Double Gold medals, the mighty Barossa Testament, which already had a Double Gold to its name, and Clare Valley’s rich, complex Settlement Block. Save $168 on 3 of each for a very reasonable $20.99 a bottle.

Wine Summary
From Kilikanoon’s Clare Valley heartland – this cuvée makes use of fruit from several ‘Settlement’ blocks in Leasingham originally given to soldiers returning from the World Wars. Warm days and cool nights yield Shiraz of terrific power, elegance and length. The use of multiple blocks and careful oak ageing, adds complexity for a rich, satisfying premium Kilikanoon Shiraz full of black fruit and peppery notes.

Wine Summary
The wine is crafted by Kevin Mitchell at Kilikanoon, whose flagship Shiraz rates a huge 98 points from Robert Parker (and sells for around $250 a bottle). Grapes for this wine were selected from a number of top, early ripening vineyards between premium areas Spencer Gulf and the Flinders Ranges. Vinified in small batches, it was blended and bottled unfiltered for maximum flavour. Rich and powerful, it’s best decanted then served with steak or lamb.

Wine Summary
Crafted by the great Kevin Mitchell at Kilikanoon, who is famous for his outstanding Shiraz. His wines have regularly achieved a huge 98 points from Robert Parker and his top Shiraz sells for over $500 a bottle! Baroota is a 'special project' red, grapes selected from a number of top, early ripening vineyards between premium areas Spencer Gulf and the Flinders Ranges. Vinified in small batches. Enjoy aromas of blackberry with a sweet oak and vanilla lift, plus highlights of spice and eucalyptus. The intense, warming palate is loaded with dense black fruit, and smooth tannins carry the Shiraz to a delightfully long rich finish. It’s best decanted, then served with a rib eye steak or roasted eggplant.

Wine Summary
A regional soulmate to Kilikanoon's Clare Valley Covenant Shiraz and McLaren Vale Parable Shiraz, the Testament reflects the unique, terroir driven expression of the Barossa Valley, both its opulence and regional distinctiveness. Opulent and voluptuous, with waves of blackberry, cherry, vanilla and spice, balanced by hints of olive tapernade savouriness. Awarded Double Gold and 93pts at Gilbert & Gaillard, the judges recognising it as "A promising, age-worthy fine wine."
