Wine Summary
Wills Domain enjoys an enviable location situated in the Gunyulgup Valley, in Yallingup, which is at the northern end of the prestigious Margaret River wine region. The estate is run by the Haunold family, who can date their heritage as vignerons back to 1383! (Not in Australia, but in Austria!). They planted their first vines in Margaret River in 1985, and later established the Wills Domain brand. The estate won a Halliday Top 10 Dark Horse winery award in 2010, and today enjoys a prestigious 5 Red Star rating. The Cabernet Merlot abounds with blackcurrant and mulberry tempered by fine oak and a touch of olive, leafy spice and subtle tobacco.
