Wine Summary

Blackstrap is sourced from some of the finest family-owned vineyards in McLaren Vale, widely regarded as one of Australia's premier red wine growing regions. The low-yielding vines produce flavour-packed grapes, which in turn make the kind of intensely flavoured, brilliantly coloured wines for which the region is renowned. Made in the excellent 2021 vintage, Blackstrap Cabernet Sauvignon is as dark and smooth as blackstrap molasses, with all the rich, ripe, peppery dark fruit character to match. Decant an hour or so before serving, then swirl in big-bowled glasses for maximum enjoyment.

The Great Southern wine region lies along the Southern Ocean on Western Australia’s south coast. True to Sam Trimboli’s Italian heritage, this Pink Duck Rosé is made from nearly all Montepulciano with a splash of Vermentino to add extra lemony zip. A pretty hue, lovely ripe fruit and zesty freshness. 2021 saw the brand new release of Sam’s first ever Rosé – and it was a smash hit! Customers went nuts, ordering case after case after case. And it wasn’t just customers who loved this new pink, the wine show judges did too. The Pink Duck Rosé waddled away with Gold and a massive 95pt at the Royal Queensland Wine Show. The 2023 is the third vintage of the Pink Duck – highly anticipated by many to be another showstopping blush. No need to fly north for this one, it’s glorious drinking in any season.
