A terrific two Gold medals for gifted winemaker Elena Brooks’ enchanting Barossa Grenache Rosé, handpicked from their old bush vine Grenache garden at Gomersal in Nuriootpa - a true modern day Fairytale. <br> "Fruit from 90yo grenache bushvines at Gomersal. Free-run basket-pressed juice fermented in old French barriques; 20 weeks on lees (without mlf, fining or filtration) before bottling. Pink musk stick aromas, and an impression of the time in wood, without being oaky. Red-fruited flavours, cranberry and raspberry mainly, faintly sweetish but nicely dry on the finish... 92pts" (Halliday).
