Wine Summary
The grapes are from Tim Bartsch's impressive small vineyard in South Australia's cool Adelaide Hills. Low yield grapes are harvested in cooler night-time temperatures then immediately pressed to capture maximum citrussy crispness and flint. Fermentation in oak, some in new Hungarian barrels, has lent subtle hints of smoky richness, while lees stirring adds lovely roundness - a perfect balance.
