Alex Russell Wines produce cool climate varietal wines both in South Australia's Riverland region and Tasmania – in the Pipers River region North of Launceston. Son of a Bull are Alex Russell’s premium Tasmanian varietal wines. His Son of a Bull brand he describes as being ‘the brainchild of a bull at a gate - it's fresh frisky and impulsive. This 'live for the moment' wine is for drinking at a young age - no cellaring required.’ This Pinot Noir spent 7 days on skins, resulting in a bright red wine full of plum, cherry and spice with a dash of French oak.
