As the Great Great Grandson of Thomas Hardy, one of the founding fathers of the Australian wine, who first planted grapes in SA in the 1850s, Geo Hardy is genuine winemaking royalty. He left what was the family company, Thomas Hardy and Sons in 1980 and set up alone and his wines are unfailingly excellent. <i> " ... this is indeed McLaren Vale, and it is a compelling example with its medium to full-bodied earthy/chocolatey black fruits reaching every corner of the mouth in a flash.
