Wine Summary

No wonder Tony Blair and Bill Clinton are fans of this truly iconic estate! In 1970, the winemaking legend Aimé Guibert and his wife Véronique transformed an old farmhouse in a remote valley near Montpellier into one of the most famous French estates today.

Today, sons Samuel and Roman make this special wine in the style of their father's with the same attention and pride. Mas de Daumas Gassac fetches very big prices, especially for older vintages and has been mistaken for top Bordeaux in blind tastings. It is an absolute must for the cellar.

Brambly Cabernet Sauvignon to the fore, supported by wild-herb scented Syrah and plummy, very ripe Merlot. Complex, spicy, mouthfilling – great with rosemary barbecued lamb.
