At six years of mellow maturity, this red is showing all the hallmarks of Margaret River and only entering its prime right now. </p> <p> “Cabernet Sauvignon put the spotlight on Margaret River and is still its main calling card. Blended with a little Merlot, it has that delectable mix of dark, vibrant cassis and a supple tannic structure for ageing” (James Lawther, MW). </p> <p>The grapes for this wine come from a very special patch of dirt referred to as Margaret River’s ‘golden triangle’ by James Halliday, as it boasts the oldest geology in all of Australia.
