<p> The winery lies up in the hills of Navarra, so the climate is a little cooler, with a great drop in temperature at night, both of which promote a lovely intensity and aroma in the grapes, carefully nurtured by local Navarran winemaker Jokin Pascal Lizarraga. </p> <p> He used pure Garnacha - the most important variety for rosado in this region and the same as used in Provence. With cool conditions in spring, harvest was late in 2013, but produced great rosé. Fresh with summer berry fruit and lemony zip, Viña Nava is perfect with tapas or Thai curry. </p>
