<p> The Karridale sub-region is home to the finest Sauvignon Blanc grapes in Margaret River. Crisp higher natural acids; aromatic citrus fruit profiles; extended slower ripening and more fruit intensity. </p> <p> Semillon works wonders with Sauvignon. Its lemon pith midpalate and racy mineral acidity perfectly complements and extends the punchy Sauvignon profile. The 2013 Perfect Day shows the higher barrel ferment component (all the Semillon and the balance SB) and the higher SB content. </p> <p> “Light straw-green; Sauvignon Blanc rules the roost, seamlessly wrapping the Semillon, and some oak, in its folds to provide a generous, tropical fruit-driven mouthful of wine … 92 pts” (Halliday). </p>
