Acclaimed Gran Reserva rarity
Ermita de San Lorenzo Gran Reserva 2004
When our Spanish expert tasted it she said: "it's one of the best old vintage Spanish reds I've ever tasted!" Gran Reservas are only made in the best vintages and aged for at least five years, including at least two in oak and three in bottle.
Layers of spicy raspberry and subtle smoky overtones with tremendous barrel-aged complexity that only years of maturity can deliver. Best savoured with traditional Spanish fare such as paella, chorizo or manchego cheese.
