Wine Summary

McGuigan won International Winemaker of the Year in 2009, 2011 & 2012, along with Australian Producer of the Year in 2009, 2011, 2012 & 2013.

The fruit for this full-bodied Shiraz so typical of the great Barossa Valley comes from low-yielding vineyards in the southern Lyndoch area and the Barossa Hills. The Lyndoch area grows fruit with exceptional depth and power, whereas the fruit from the Barossa Hills express intense pepper spice and structure yet a natural elegance. The combination of these parcels is magical, producing a well balanced wine of great power and finesse.

You can look forward to a classic, fruit-driven, fragrant Barossa Shiraz displaying ripe mulberry and plum characteristics, and thanks to good oak-ageing, a touch of subtle vanilla and spice.
