Andrew picks the fruit a little later than most, giving a slightly richer style. He has coaxed a classic, nose-tickling Semillon awash with lemon butter, lemon sabayon, white flowers and a hit of beeswax. "Bright straw-green; in the generous mouthfilling style of the Margan Family wines, the ripe - almost sweet - citrus and lemongrass flavours flooding the mouth, yet balanced by the good acidity which gives the wine a drink now or later quality ... 94 pts" (Halliday). Oysters anyone?
