Wine Summary

Federica Lauterio is a native of northern Italy, heartland of the Pinot Grigio grape. She's also the latest winemaking protégée of an established Pinot Grigio specialist (none other than the great Scipione Giuliani of Il Papavero fame). Her romantically named Lumina Lunae means 'by the light of the moon', reflecting the fact that the grapes were harvested in the cool of night to ensure maximum freshness and fruit in the wine.

The region's 'airconditioned' mountain climate also lends a crispness to the wines. When our Buyer tasted this sublime Pinot Grigio she couldn't resist its incredible zing and citrus fruit. It makes an irresistible glass solo or with prawns, a prosciutto and Parmesan platter, or a tomato, basil and mozzarella salad.
