Wine Summary
2011 was a tricky vintage, but our head winemaker - the Haut-Brion trained Jean-Marc Sauboua - has an excellent network of contacts, who help secure the finest fruit. This year he sourced grapes from two top Castillon properties to obtain a fine balance of supple fruit, firm structure and depth, then vinified and barrel aged the wine for a year at Le Chai. The result: a silky red fruit claret with a wrap of oak - most attractive now and for a few years to come. Serve with pink roast lamb.
