<p> Tempranillo is Spain’s noble red grape, described by Jancis Robinson MW as “capable of making deep coloured, long-lasting wines ...” with characters including “strawberries… spice, leather and tobacco leaves ...” This is the fifth vintage from the talented double act of Peter Leske – who probably made the very first Tempranillo in the Adelaide Hills at Nepenthe – along with David LeMire MW who knows Spanish wine better than just about anyone in Australia. </p> <p> “The fragrant bouquet introduces a delicious, fresh and crisp red cherry palate ... there is just a twist of citrus on the finish ... 92 points” (Halliday). </p>
