Wine Summary

La Chapelle de Bordeaux is a blend of vats from the Entre Deux Mers and typifies the style for which Bordeaux is renowned. It displays good depth of colour with expressive ripe cassis and dark plum aromas. It's smooth, rounded and elegantly proportioned with just a subtle hint of spice – the epitome of modern claret.

The man behind it is our own Jean-Marc Sauboua who was born and raised in the vineyards of Bordeaux. Having trained in the cellar of a First Growth château, his standards are exceedingly high and he always makes the best wine possible, regardless of price. Jean-Marc recommends you drink La Chapelle as the locals might, with lamb or duck. It's best if you decant it an hour or so before serving to allow its full charms to unfurl.
