<p> A little sub appellation of Tarragona on the eastern coast of Spain, Priorat has emerged from obscurity to produce some of the country's most exciting wines. Imaginació is created at a small family cellar in the village of Gratallops, at the centre of some of the region's most celebrated vineyards. It takes its name from the once great but now ruined priory of Scala Dei. </p> <p> Key to its superior quality is the skills of winemaker Gilles Pauquet – who has worked his magic at world famous Bordeaux Châteaux Cheval Blanc and Figeac, which easily fetch £100+ per bottle. Matured in top quality French oak for poise, elegance and depth, this intensely flavoured Priorat is best enjoyed with a fine fillet of beef, wild mushrooms, or rich game dishes. </p>
