Wine Summary

Portugal is home to a myriad of brilliant native grapes with challenging names, which in expert hands give flavour and character capable of thrilling any but the most staid of wine lovers.

Giesta is the personal project of talented fourth generation winemaker Nuno Cancela de Abreu, who consults for a number of other properties. Brought up in Dão, he has a passion for the region's traditional grape varieties.

This is a blend from his family estate - Touriga Nacional, chosen for its ripe floral character, Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo), and Jaen, for its fruit and spice. This wine has a natural freshness, with floral highlights and ripe red fruit. Just right for Summer grills and winter casseroles.
