The vineyard for this Saint Véran has chalkier soils than many, and when combined with Jean Luc Terrier's formidable skill and experience the result is this tremendous white Burgundy. </p> <p> The gentle toasty oak of the wine is perfectly in harmony with the rich creamy apple fruit. It will make a superb partner for the classic French veal dish, blanquette de veau. </p>
