Nalys, which surrounds the château, and La Crau and Le Bois Sénéchal, which are among the region's most celebrated terroirs. </p> <p> 'Cuvée 1633' is made from vines that are over 40 years old and the estate's flagship red. Largely velvety Grenache, plus spicy Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, it is showing all those deliciously spicy and savoury characteristics. Crack it open an hour before drinking and enjoy with roast lamb or succulent duck confit. </p>
