<p> Jacques uses his fine winemaking and unerring focus on quality. His Malbec was spotted early on by our intrepid Languedoc lover and winemaker Mark Hoddy. He arranged to buy the young wine and take it back to Le Chai in Bordeaux where he could nurture it in barrel. </p> <p> This is a beautifully balanced Malbec, unlike the weightier Argentine styles and more approachable than many a Cahors. It's probably the tastiest, friendliest Malbec we've tried in years. Perfect with homemade beef burgers, sausages, roast duck or grilled lamb chops. </p>
