Wine Summary
It was made by Julian Langworthy, a former Young Winemaker of the Year who used to work at Knappstein. Made up of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the fruit was sourced from old vines on four separate blocks on the estate. Matured for 16 months in 30% new and 70% seasoned French oak barriques, it has a deep ruby red colour and is packed with ripe cassis, dark chocolate, licorice, savoury oak and a touch of mint.
