Coriole has earned its reputation as one of the blue-blood producers of McLaren Vale Shiraz, with a 30-year track record of consistent excellence” (Halliday). </p> <p> A modern day classic and McLaren Vale icon, with a memorable label created in 1989 to honour founder Hugh Lloyd. It comes from a single vineyard planted in 1919. Our expert team found this seriously complex and built to last – but with beautiful fruit and balance making it very drinkable now. </p> <p> “Dense, opaque crimson-purple; precisely as the colour suggested, a full-bodied wine with a long future; a sumptuous mix of black fruits and some regional earth and mere trace of dark chocolate; obviously picked at its optimum prior to the heatwave, with no dead or overripe fruit whatsoever. 96 points” (Halliday). </p>
