Cooralook by Tom Carson Strathbogie Ranges Chardonnay 2011

<p> Tom Carson was also the winner of The Dux of the Len Evans Wine Tutorial, (the most ‘exclusive wine school in the world’) and youngest ever Chairman of the National Wine Competition in Canberra. Oh, and he’s also just one of three people to sit on the Qantas Wine Selection panel! </p> <p> The wine comes from the Strathbogie Ranges, home to special soils, high altitude and a classic Continental climate. The end result? A highly elegant, ‘less is more’ style of Chardonnay for which Tom Carson is internationally famous. </p> <p> The wine was crafted from grapes grown on a sunny plateau, giving the wine a balanced structure with some fruit sweetness and it finishes with a crisp, dry, lingering finish. </p> <p> This pure expression of the grape offers enticing aromas of peach, tropical fruits and hints of citrus characters with spicy undertones. </p>
