This red definitely has a certain meaty quality, to be expected with an Argentinean red wine because this is the perfect food match. If you dip your nose into the glass you will pick up these nuances too! Dark fruit aromas dominate the nose but there's a level of inherent freshness that comes in the guise of mountain herbs. There's no oak - so all you get are swathes of damson and briary fruit, touches of spice and a fresh lasting finish.
