<p> The vines lie on the border of the Mâcon Villages and Saint Veran appellations, in classic clay and limestone soils. Nearby are two huge and well known outcrops of rock, Vergisson and Solutré, both classified 'Grands Sites Naturels de France'. The wine is the creation of two winemaker friends, Christian Collovray and Jean-Luc Terrier, who joined forces and started this award winning cellar in 1986. </p> <p> Meticulous vinifying and blending of the grapes has resulted in a wine with superb balance and complexity. This is a fine dinner party white to serve with salmon en croûte, grilled prawns, creamy chicken or simply on its own. </p>
