Wine Summary
This vintage of Barbera enjoyed ideal growing conditions, being a fairly late ripening varietal it requires a long, warm Summer for the grape's sugars to attain balance with the grape's high levels of natural acidity. This balancing act can be tricky, but with some careful work in the vineyards and the winery we've created a style of wine that is perfect for Summer drinking now, but will develop nicely into a Winter sipper by the time those colder months arrive.
