<p> The blend was aged in oak barrels to integrate the black fruit and spice and create a beautifully balanced wine. The name Adaptaur comes from a breed of cattle, a cross between Herefords and Shorthorns, developed in the 1950s to survive the harsh conditions of Northern Australia. No such adaption was required by the Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz vine, which has proved it’s perfectly suited to growing conditions here for over 150 years. </p> <p> Rip-roaring red with incredibly deep, dark, brooding flavours. Tenderise the meat, light the barbie, pour Adaptaur into a big glass, give it a swirl and take a nice long sip. </p>
