<p> Characterful Loire whites are Noël Bougrier's speciality at his fifth generation, family run cellar. We've been working with him for many years and that loyalty does not go unrewarded. He gives us privileged access to his numerous cuvées and will often create entirely new wines just for us. Abbesse Royale is one such 'special edition'. </p> <p> Made at his own cellar with grapes from some of the most sought after vineyards in the Touraine region, this is – as the price suggests – a real step up in quality from the original, still deliciously fresh Abbesse. Loire and Sauvignon fans everywhere will be delighted with the Royale's elegance, poise and tang of minerality. A wine fit for a king or queen – serve with grilled white fish, shellfish or grilled goat's cheese salad. </p>
