<p> This stunning rosé, with crushed red fruit aromas and mineral freshness comes from the cool vineyards of the Loire Valley. It's made by Noël Bougrier, a fourth generation winemaker who crafts some of our bestselling Loire whites. Here he has shown an equally deft hand with the classic local red varieties, which are ideally suited to vibrant pinks. </p> <p> The wine is made from Cabernet Franc, which provides leafy raspberry fruit, and Gamay, adding some irresistible strawberry bonbon notes. Noël crushed the grapes very gently and left them briefly on their skins to extract just enough colour – then cool fermented the juice to capture the delicate aromas. Lovely as a glass on its own or with grilled fish or tomato based dish. </p>
